What cam2cam adds to the exchange

A cam to cam chat carries expression in both directions. Instead of watching a broadcast, you participate in a two-way call where the other person can respond to your face, tone and timing. On Tinichat, this happens inside a private one-on-one format rather than a public video wall.

You remain responsible for what your own camera reveals. Check the background, lighting and framing before joining, and do not enable devices you do not intend to use.

02

Camera and microphone permission is a browser decision

The site cannot turn a denied permission into access. Your browser asks whether a device may be used, and its settings let you revoke that choice. If you want text first, use messages where available instead of treating camera access as a social obligation.

A small self-view helps you check framing, but illustrative website mockups are not real calls. Actual video begins only in the product’s call flow after the required steps and permissions.

03

Keep control of the conversation

Cam chat does not require you to stay visible in a situation that feels wrong. End the call, disable the relevant permission if needed, and report inappropriate behavior through the product tools.

Never assume that a private webcam chat cannot be recorded by the other participant. Share only what you are comfortable leaving in someone else’s hands.
