Live means the conversation, not every profile clip
A live video chat happens in real time between participants. A prerecorded profile clip is different: it helps present a person or mood but does not prove that someone is currently available. Tinichat labels editorial media accordingly and uses service data for live profile status.
When you enter a real call, camera and microphone access becomes relevant. Your browser asks for permission according to its own controls, and you can change those permissions later.
A browser experience across screen sizes
On a phone, primary actions stay within thumb reach and account for safe areas. On a larger screen, text and media have room to sit side by side without turning the experience into a desktop-only console. The underlying matching, messages and profile routes remain part of the same service.
No download is required to open the browser product. A stable network and an up-to-date browser matter more to call quality than a long installation flow.
When a call does not go as planned
If video fails, check permission settings, camera availability and whether another application is using the device. Try a current browser and a stronger connection. If a profile appears unavailable, return to the live list rather than assuming the status will remain fixed.
Technical quality does not guarantee social compatibility. Leave conversations that are not right for you and use the available reporting tools for inappropriate conduct.
